Normal excellent condition just means that it has everything with it and no noticable damage on the outside.
Since they cant sell it as new any more they seal it back up and slap an Open Box discount on it. Its a product that was either returned or used as store display and does not have the original box anymore but has all original accessories included. Or people have duplicates of the tv. Open box means the product has been opened before and returned.
